Our studio is based around vintage classics and high-end modern gear. Some of the vintage classics include microphones such as Neumann U47, M49, M269, KM84, Coles 4038, RCA ribbons, mic pres such as Neve 1084s, Telefunken V76 mic pres, 1176 and LA3A compressors. Classic instruments include 1930′s and 1940′s Martin and Gibson acoustics, 1950′s and 1960′s Fenders and Gibsons (Les Paul, Firebirds, SG’s, Jr’s, Stats, Teles, Jazzmasters), a Steinway upright from the 1950′s. Classic amps include Fender, Marshall, and Vox amps from the 1950′s and 1960′s. There are also 3 vintage drum kits ranging from 1950′s – 1960′s. We like to record real instruments.
